Wan Aff was born from a need to quieten the mind. When behind the wheel with a lump of mud, the body meets the earth and the mind slows to an almost meditative state.
Inspiration is taken from nature. From the kaleidoscope of green in ancient Karri forests to the rolling hills and mist covered mountains of the Stirling Ranges. From the vibrant Aurora Australis to the humbling Milky Way. Every single experience in nature is unique, a view is never the same, the sky is always changing and the colours and textures change with the 6 seasons.
From that inspiration comes the essence of Wan Affs, one of a kind, nature inspired functional ceramics.
